Beauty Army - April 2012

My Beauty Army box came a couple of weeks ago -- time to show it off!

 

This is my last Beauty Army box for awhile, unless I happen to see that they start getting a lot more new companies, a lot fewer skincare products, and a skip option. Theoretically, I am canceled. I will say that they have exceptional customer service, but... meh. Back to the "I'd rather just shell out for Chanel" justification for canceling some of these boxes.

I was happy with my April box, in spite of repeat brands, for a couple of reasons. Part of it is because on Makeup Talk, I saw a lot of users who selected their products at the end of March for that box, and many of these products were being talked up a lot on the forum. I also was thinking independently, on the same day that I chose, that I really needed to get a blemish pen/cream. So, I was excited to try a few of these. I selected:

As always, Beauty Army pays off very nicely! I just hope that I will be enticed back in for May...

Beauty Army - March 2012

I lied to everyone! I said I was up to date on beauty boxes, but I received my Beauty Army box for March today!

Always a great box! However, there have been some issues because Beauty Army has not received any new products in awhile. Hopefully there will be some new picks for April!

Beauty Army - January 2012

Hello, guys! I have another beauty subscription to share with you today: the newly-launched Beauty Army!

I had a hell of a time getting signed up for this box. It was announced eons ago, then it was announced that it would launch on January 01. However, early subscribers to the newsletter did not receive any special treatment, and there were only 300 boxes available this month, so it ended up being a nightmare on New Year's Day, with the site crashing for hours.

However, once that was all set and done, I finally got out with one of the first Beauty Army boxes!

 

Beauty Army is unique among beauty subscriptions because it allows subscribers to pick from an array of options, rather than to pick for them.

= $60.93 value of products, according to manufacturers website. Not bad for $12.00 a month. Even if I only used the eyeshadow, which is in a lovely color that I love (and cannot wait to try), it would still be a discount!

Hopefully the quality of the products will remain nice and high. I am glad that I went ahead and subscribed, especially in light of the fact that I just dropped GoGoGirlfriend.
